Writing and performing wedding ceremonies is my passion. I am a hopeless romantic with a love of writing and a keen sense of humour so creating ceremonies for couples at a time in their lives when they are so full of love and optimism about their future satisfies my soul on so many levels. Sharing this joyful experience is something I will never take for granted and will always be grateful for.

The ceremonies I create are fresh vibrant romantic and original just like you! They’re written straight from my heart with you in mind. They’re overflowing with love expressed in simple language for everyone present to enjoy and remember……and they are lots of fun!
As a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc. the largest and most respected Australian celebrant association, I am kept up to date with current Australian laws and information relating to marriage enabling me to offer you the highest professional service.
At our first meeting we sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form and the Agreement for my service. I will meet with you at least three times including a rehearsal before your ceremony to ensure you feel calm confident and relaxed on your wedding day.
During our second meeting I ask you lots of questions about how you would like your ceremony to flow….not just the words that are spoken but how you would like your ceremony to ‘feel’. I will do my utmost to ensure that your ceremony unfolds just the way you want it, always keeping in mind that my service must exceed your expectations.
Your deeply personal ceremony will reflect your unique intention, needs, and wishes focussing on your commitment to one another other and your hopes and dreams for the future. I will listen carefully to what you want, suggest possibilities and solutions to any concerns, embracing my belief that the universal truth at the heart of all spiritual traditions, is LOVE.
Whether you choose to have a simple garden wedding in your own backyard, a beach wedding at Noosa Coolum or Mooloolaba, or a magical romantic wedding ceremony amongst the majestic rainforest in Buderim Maleny or Montville, I will work closely with you so that together we create the perfect wedding day you have always imagined.
Most ceremonies take around 20-25 minutes…..they’re never boring and my state of the art PA system with CD player and iPod port ensures your guests hear every word. I like to include your guests in the ceremony and ask them to fill all the vacant seats and stand as the bridal party enters the ceremony area. I also ask them to switch off their mobile phones and stand close to us so that they can really enjoy ’sharing the moment’ while your ceremony is being performed. For that reason I also request that all pics be taken only by the professional photographer until after we’ve signed the register, when there’s an opportunity for everyone to come forward to take that perfect shot before I present you with your keepsake ceremony and certificate.
If you would like to include rituals in your ceremony, I have an extensive library reflecting the traditions of many cultures, including the original caretakers of our country. There is one for every occasion so ask me about them when you make contact, and if you have an original idea I’ll enjoy writing some words to bring it to life.
Whether whimsical classical or themed…. each ceremony is heartfelt. It is designed especially for you and I only perform one ceremony per day……yours!
The service fee of $600 is all-inclusive and payable in three instalments to simplify your wedding budget. However if you have a small guest list I will provide a short intimate ceremony for $400 in a secluded park beside a coastal lagoon adjacent to my home at Peregian Beach.
You will undoubtedly put an incredible amount of time thought and effort into planning your dream wedding and I will do the same when writing your ceremony. I understand how special your day is and will do everything I can to make sure it’s perfect.
