Sunshine Coast Weddings
Congratulations on your decision to marry.
Being a hopeless romantic with a love of writing and a keen sense of humour, I have a genuine passion for my role as a full time celebrant. Creating ceremonies for couples seeking ‘a light-hearted, meaningful, original ceremony’ on the Sunshine Coast whilst capturing and portraying their own personal love story is a constant source of joy and satisfaction for me.
If English is not your first language I will welcome your guests with a few words in your native tongue if you wish.
For those planning a small intimate ceremony with less than 40 guests I can recommend a park 100 metres from Peregian Beach accessed via a sandy walkway, which would be ideal for your ceremony and photos. There is ample parking in a quiet cul de sac and the park is planted with mature natives beside a coastal wetland.
You will find my dedication to detail and organised manner (I’m not bossy…it’s your day and you’re in charge!) will leave you free to relax on your wedding day enabling you to fully enjoy a moment in time that is as unique as you are.
My ceremonies usually take around 20 minutes ….they’re never boring, and my state of the art PA system, with CD player and iPod port, ensures that your guests hear every word. I particularly like to use candles as symbolism to unite families, or remember loved ones who are no longer with us. I also use coloured sand to symbolise blending families. I really enjoy creating themed wedding ceremonies and have many ideas and resources for you to consider.
Whether whimsical or wacky, traditional or themed…. each ceremony is designed especially for you, and only in exceptional circumstances will I perform more than one ceremony per day.
My fee is all-inclusive, incorporating meetings, planning, rehearsal, ceremony, legal paperwork, provision of signing table and chairs, plus Bali flags.
You will undoubtedly put an incredible amount of time, thought and effort into planning your dream wedding, and I will do the same when it comes to your ceremony.
Let’s meet up for a no obligation chat prior to making a decision about your booking, in fact, I encourage you to meet with at least two celebrants to ensure you choose the one who “clicks” with you best. I can also recommend other great celebrants who will go that extra mile for you if I’m unavailable on your chosen day.
